Position Summary
Reporting to the Supervisor, Northwest Employment Works Thunder Bay, the Cooperative Education Specialist is responsible to facilitate the participation of students, faculty and employers in Co
- operative Education. In addition, the Specialist initiates and maintains effective working relationships in the specific Cooperative Education programs, Facilitates employer development and relations; student development; monitoring and evaluation of the work term experience; and general administration.
The Cooperative Education Specialist provides a wide range of services that promote the mission of the College and support the success of our students, alumni and community partners. Key services include employment development, coordination of co-operative education implementation and delivery, and participation in special events, providing on-going support to a broad client base and the delivery of a strong career advisement role.

Experience with advising and providing guidance to clients
Knowledge of College programs, related employment outcomes and our policies and procedures
