The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing inventory levels and ensuring that the right products are available at the right time. The role involves working closely with suppliers, sales teams, and warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory records and to coordinate the ordering and delivery of products.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels and order products based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to delivery or quality.
- Work closely with the sales team to understand demand trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly.
- Conduct periodic inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between inventory records and physical inventory.
- Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure efficient inventory control.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure that inventory is stored and handled properly.
- Assist with the development of reports and metrics related to inventory management.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent or bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- 1 - 2 years of experience in inventory management or related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers, sales teams, and warehouse staff.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory management best practices and procedures.
- Forklift license required.

**Salary**: $19.75 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Etobicoke, ON M8V 3L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- 1 year of counterbalance (required)
- 6 months to 1 year of Inventory Controller (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (required)
