**Position Overview**:
**Primary Job Functions**:

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct detailed analyses of existing business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Prepare comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, process flows, and user guides.
- Facilitate user training sessions to ensure effective system adoption.
- Validate data and software content prior to deployment for operational use.
- Establish and document procedures in a comprehensive Policy and Procedures Manual.
- Analyze complex data sets to deliver insights and support informed decision-making.
- Oversee audits and quality checks to ensure system compliance and reliability.
- Conduct internal User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating and executing detailed test plans to verify solution integrity and functionality.
- Regularly review processes and procedures to drive continuous improvements aligned with departmental needs.
- Develop, implement, and manage efficient APIs to support operational requirements.
- Perform additional duties as required to support business objectives.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- ** Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in business analysis or system management (e.g., CBAP, ITIL) are considered an asset.
- ** Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Business System Analyst or similar role.
- Proven experience with systems integration, process optimization, and software testing.
- Experience with creating and maintaining detailed system documentation and user guides.
- Hands-on experience conducting UAT and working with APIs.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data to support decision-making.
- ** Skills & Abilities**:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or other project management platforms.
- Technical proficiency in understanding system integrations, APIs, and security protocols.
- Capability to independently identify solutions and drive improvements.

- ** Requirements**:

- Clear criminal record check and satisfactory employment references.
- Must have a valid passport for travel across the airline’s network.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without restriction.
