If you’re passionate about improving workflows, defining clear business and functional requirements, and ensuring seamless system implementation, we want to hear from you

**Why This Role Matters**

As a Business Systems Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in translating business needs into actionable solutions that improve efficiency, scalability, and the overall experience of our teams. You are the anchor for business requirements from discovery to delivery, ensuring that what we build aligns with original goals and supports a smooth transition to operations.
- Be a Change Driver: Work closely with stakeholders across departments to analyze needs, refine business processes, and implement new solutions
- Ensure Quality & Reliability: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that systems meet business and functional requirements.
- Guide system implementation activities: Translate business needs into configuration and validation steps, working with IS and Operations to ensure seamless integration and process alignment.

**What You’ll Do**

You’ll lead business requirements through every stage of the solution lifecycle, from discovery and definition to testing, validation, and operational handoff.

**1. Business & Functional Analysis**
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate requirements into process maps, workflows, and system configurations.
- Lead software acquisition activities, evaluating vendor solutions and ensuring business needs alignment.

**2. Process Optimization & AI-Driven Automation**
- Identify opportunities for automation, leveraging AI-driven tools to improve business processes.
- Guide IS and Operations through workflow refinement to ensure solutions reflect business intent and future-state goals.
- Support change readiness by assessing the impact of new solutions on operations, staff, and residents.

**3. Quality Assurance & Testing**
- Develop and execute test cases (unit, integration, UAT, regression) to ensure system reliability and alignment with original business requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to validate new system features, enhancements, and fixes before deployment.

**4. Support Learning & Knowledge Sharing**
- Provide end-user training and support to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
- Develop user guides, documentation, and training materials to facilitate knowledge transfer.

**Who You Are**

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years in business analysis, quality assurance, or process improvement, preferably within healthcare, senior living, or SaaS/cloud environments.
- Awareness of privacy, compliance, or health information standards is an asset.

**Technical Skills**
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Visio, Power Automate) and business process tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Oracle HCM, Yardi, Power BI, UiPath, and SAP.
- Familiarity with automation and AI-driven tools for process improvement (preferred but not required).

**Communication & Problem-Solving**
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker who can break down complex requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
- Applies responsible AI practices in alignment with Chartwell’s operational goals and data governance standards.

**Bilingual Advantage**
- Fluency in English and French is an asset, enabling effective communication across diverse regions.

**Why Join Chartwell?**

At Chartwell, we believe in empowering our teams to drive meaningful impact.
- Collaborative Culture - Work in an inclusive, dynamic environment that values learning and innovation.
- Professional Growth - Access training, mentorship, and career development opportunities.
- Meaningful Work - Be part of a mission-driven team focused on improving residents' experiences and staff efficiency.
