**Human Resource Generalist**

Reporting to the Director, Talent & Culture, the Human Resource (HR) Generalist plays a critical role in providing HR support to the organization. **Responsibilities**:

- Manage all administrative aspects of onboarding and offboarding employees.
- Assist with all aspects of the recruitment process, including staff and interns.
- Assist with the annual performance management process within IISD.
- Perform new employee orientation and exit interviews.
- Produce and submit HR reports.
- Manage training requests and maintain training records.
- Complete expense claims and HR credit card bank statement expenses monthly.
- Implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives at IISD.
- Other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- University or college education in human resources.
- 1-2 years of experience as an HR Generalist.
- Effective HR administration and people management skills.
- Full understanding of HR functions and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Payroll experience is an asset.

**Location**:Winnipeg

**Term**: Full-time Indefinite (would consider 80% full-time equivalent if desired)

**Salary**:$42,964 - $50,621 (based on experience)

**Start Date**:As soon as possible
