The responsibility of the System Administrator is to design, implement and support the infrastructure. This enables us to support business objectives of the company. This position will ensure maximum availability, reliability, and performance of related infrastructure and systems. In addition to strong technical skills, the ideal applicant should be able to manage multiple projects and communicate well cross functionally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage environment of Windows Servers
- Work with 3rd party vendors to manage patching, alert resolution and updates
- Respond to and remediate alerts
- Build, decom, clone servers as necessary
- Manage underlying server infrastructure
- Ability to travel to the data center as needed
- Maintain business processes
- Work with in house and offshore IT staff to resolve server / service issues that may impact business processes
- Ensure all maintenance is scheduled and communicated with IT and the business as necessary
- Manage, document, and rotate service accounts
- Cut accounts in the Active Directory
- Participate in on call rotation
- Coach junior members of the team and provide point of escalation

Qualifications:

- Strong ability to troubleshoot
- Be a generator of solutions not just reporting of errors and issues
- Effectively work issues to completion
- Ability to manage multi-tier projects
- Ability to communicate with vendors and 3rd party resources
- Ability to propose ideas and plans (up and down chain of command)
- Strong Ability to write change controls, SOPs, and incident communications
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to take a problem and turn it into a solutio
- Proactive - should be able to identify areas of opportunity without being told
