**Status**:Full time, Permanent

**Hours/Shift**:Morning shift, Monday through Saturdays and some holidays required. Overtime as needed.

**Wage**:$18.00/hr

**Inspired**produces innovative, fresh and healthy, ready-to-eat items for Canadian retail and Foodservice companies. Our state-of-the-art processing facility, use of premium ingredients, and chef inspired recipes has elevated fresh-cut to the next level. We are a dynamic & forward thinking company looking to expand our current product offering. We will continue to create new Inspired items for the Canadian market.

**Focus**

The primary focus of the Technical Operator is to be responsible for operating high tech machines, and will need to identify and report any issues with the equipment used. The position of Technical Operator is vital to the operation of the facility.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Prepare, set up, stock, and maintain operation of machinery and equipment
- Operate machinery as needed per production schedule
- Inspect and report quality issues
- Safely clear machine blockages as required
- Troubleshooting machine problems or errors
- Clean machines, tools and work area
- Complete daily checklists and paperwork; maintaining accurate and legible records
- Communicate with other employees to ensure effective work
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks
- Maintain productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
- Abide by Good Manufacturing Practices which includes observing all policies & procedures and following all written & verbal instructions
- Complete day to day facility tasks as needed
- Additional Duties as required

**Key Attributes and Skill**

- Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems

- Problem solve, trouble shoot
- Understanding of basic mathematics

**Education and Experience**:

- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Experience in operating machinery required
- Maintenance experience would be an asset
- Food handling experience would be an asset

**Working Conditions**
- Over time may be required
- Would be working in a refrigerated environment (2-4 degrees Celsius)

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Physically fit
