**Senior Analyst, Market Design** **Key aspects of the role:** In this role, you will demonstrate and grow your expertise in economics, business, or engineering to shape the development of Alberta's electricity market. This will be achieved through conducting independent research on economic, technical and policy aspects of market design best practices in other jurisdictions, Leveraging your strong communication and presentation skills, you will act as a primary lead on engagement with external stakeholders as part of market design consultations, and will also be accountable for developing and supporting regulatory applications to the Alberta Utilities Commission.**Signs you will enjoy working in this role** You are comfortable with taking a lead role and influencing across cross-functional teams A minimum of 10 years experience in electricity markets or equivalentKnowledge and willingness to learn about power system optimization and operations in a deregulated electricity market Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements in the electrical utility sector. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders Experience in regulatory proceedings an asset
