As a Construction Manager for the Urban Signature Homes team, you’ll be working at multiple construction sites located in London and the surrounding area. Your main responsibility will be to manage and supervise all the daily activities for your site. This will include....
- Providing leadership and supervision for Urban Signature Homes construction teams and subcontractors
- Allocating daily construction tasks to the members of your team, ensuring that the materials needed are on site, all scheduling and logistics
- Monitoring all aspects of the construction process, ensuring that all work is performed on time, and in accordance with McKenzie standards and the Ontario Building Code
- Conducting formal inspections at critical phases of the construction process
- Training workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
- Ensuring that all workers know and follow necessary health and safety procedures
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy work environment
- Performing equipment, material, and site inspections
- Ensuring that required equipment, materials and other resources are available on site as required
- Ensure accurate and timely project close-out.

You’ll need
- Extensive knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
- The ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Great computer skills in Outlook, Excel, and Dropbox.
- The ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with contractors and municipal inspectors
- A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers
- The ability to focus and keep calm under pressure
- A “hands-on” style of leadership and management
- A valid driver's license and current driver's abstract.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
