**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Facilitate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and maintain effective communication with families.
- Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness while ensuring all materials are safe for children.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

**Qualifications**
- Level 1, 2 or 3 from the Government of Alberta in Early Childhood Education is required.
- Experience working with young children in Canada is required.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
