**Job Overview**:
Join our team at Ameen's Kitchen (Restaurant and Banquet Hall), a vibrant Nigerian restaurant located near Square One in Mississauga, as a Front Of House Staff. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for the food industry and exceptional customer service skills to enhance our guests' dining experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome customers entering the restaurant with a friendly demeanor.
- Assist guests in finding seating and provide them with menus.
- Take customers' food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure timely delivery of meals.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Process payments using POS systems and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front end area, including tables, menus, and condiments.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in food preparation, restaurant, hospitality, or food service roles is preferred.
- Mixology experience is an added advantage.
- Strong customer service skills with a helpful attitude towards guests.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with bartending basics is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
