**About Us**: dsq Construction is a reputable construction company specializing in infrastructure projects. We pride ourselves on delivering top-quality services in sewer, water, and utility construction. We are currently seeking motivated and reliable Pipe Layer/Labourers to join our team.

As a Pipe Layer/Labourer, you will be responsible for installing and repairing underground piping systems. You will work closely with a team to ensure that sewer, water, and drainage systems are installed efficiently and to specification.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install and align pipes for sewer, water, and drainage systems.
- Excavate trenches to the required depth and grade using hand tools or machinery.
- Lay and join pipes using various materials such as PVC, ductile iron, concrete, and steel.
- Backfill trenches and compact soil to ensure proper support and alignment of pipes.
- Inspect and test installed piping systems to ensure functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of safety equipment and procedures on the job site.
- Operate and maintain construction equipment and tools.
- Perform general labour duties as needed, including site cleanup and material handling.
- Follow safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in pipe laying, plumbing, or general construction is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in pipe laying.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
