**About the Job**

We’re looking for two Front Desk Receptionists (Flexibility within 30 to 40 hours/ week each) to help us run the day-to-day operations, organize patient care, and manage scheduling for our multidisciplinary health clinic in North Vancouver.

The Front Desk Receptionist will play an essential role in co-managing patient care, practitioner records, scheduling, billing, and everything in between

**Responsibilities**
- Provide support for the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring a professional and smooth experience for our clients and staff.
- Communicate frequently with clients regarding various topics; assist clients with paperwork, intake forms, scheduling, and general questions and concerns.
- Manage scheduling for all practitioners and ensuring clients are seen by the correct providers and are booked-in accurately.
- Manage practitioner waitlists and adjustments of appointment schedules.
- Maintain records, files, and charts while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion. Employees will be required to sign confidentiality agreements & will be supported to acquire PIPEDA certification.
- Keep track of and process client payments, including private insurance payments through online systems.
- Provide administrative support to practitioners such as creating various reports and letters, scanning, photocopying, faxing, uploading charts, etcetera.
- Maintain order, cleanliness, and general up-keep of the clinic through various responsibilities such as: retrieving and sorting mail, making sure laundry is done and folded throughout the day, regular disinfecting of surfaces, stocking of rooms, managing office supplies, and keeping track of and reporting any needs of supplies, equipment, and others.
- Prepare charts, billing statements, and other information for law offices and other health care providers; bill and maintain records of billing and appointments for such requests.
- Collaborate with the clinic team to identify areas of improvement in administration and operations; be flexible in managing your time and refining systems. We are a growing clinic and welcome collaboration.
- Any other tasks and responsibilities reasonably required of the role

**Desired Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a reception/ front desk or customer service role
- Experience in a medical or health office setting is a strong asset.
- Attention to detail while maintaining efficiency is essential
- A genuine enjoyment working with people, including the public; professional and friendly attitude is a must
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills

**Compensation & Working Environment**
- $18-23/hr based on experience
- Standard 4% vacation pay plus 2 paid days off over the christmas/new years holiday or holiday of your choice (in addition to stat holidays and sick days)
