Dental Assistant

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice.
Days Required: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and alternating Saturdays.
**Responsibilities**
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow efficiently.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean working environment.
- Support orthodontic procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Dentrix and Epic.
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics is a plus.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
