Working in our large warehouse facility and reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Shipper/Receiver/Picker for the day shift is responsible for the safe and efficient shipping, receiving, picking, and storage of materials including mechanical and manual material handling.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Frequent manually picking of 25 kg bags of product to meet order requirements.

2. Safe operation of the counterbalance forklift and pump truck for loading and/or of trailers/trucks.

3. Assisting with removal and placement of product into warehouse locations with the use of the forklift.

4. Accurate scanning products in and out of the RF - Warehouse Management Scanning System.

5. Accurate and timely picking of orders, processing receipts, shipments, consolidation and put away tasks and systems transactions.

6. Safe movement of materials within the warehouse utilizing forklift equipment.

7. Ensure optimal, organized, and safe storing of products within the warehouse.

8. Follow health and safety regulations and actively practice safe work habits and good housekeeping at all times.

9. May be required from time to time to work a Saturday or Sunday, but very infrequent.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 2 years of counterbalance forklift experience - preferred but not necessary - will train and give you additional skills
- At least 2 years warehouse experience - preferred but not necessary - we will work with you and help you gain the experience.
- Previous RF scanning experience a plus.
- Accuracy and eye for detail are a must.
- Be able to work independently with mínimal guidance.
- Physical strength to endure repetitive manual lifting of 25 kg bags a must.
- Ability to prioritize workload and multitask to meet deadlines while under pressure.
- Ability to self-motivate and work well both independently and within a team.

**WORKING CONDITIONS**:

- Fast-paced, stressful, and physically demanding work - great for a good workout
- Overtime sometimes required.
- Warehouse environment with extreme temperatures - but we have perks - ice creaM/Freezes/popsicles for hot days
- Repetitive manual lifting for frequent order picking of 25kg bags of product - remember you are building/toning muscle AND we will save you time at the gym
- Safe operation of counterbalance forklift for material handling.
