Working in our large warehouse facility and reporting to the Distribution Manager, the Shipping/Receiving Clerk will support the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of shipping and receiving goods in and out of the Pestell Nutrition warehouse.

The hours of work would be 9:00 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and defects and ensure all items are properly packed and labeled
- Ensure posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated software
- Handle packaging procedures to ensure safety of shipment
- Ensure that serial and batch numbers match the product
- Assist with the pulling, packing, and shipping activities when required
- Process customers’ orders by ensuring that the right shipment is on its way
- Handle shipment receiving duties by ensuring the right item has been delivered
- Report and replace any defective item prior to packing
- Prepare documents such as bill of ladings, shipping/delivery orders and invoices
- Ensure that all transactions are recorded in company database
- Make sure that items are loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner
- Handle space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areas
- Handle daily cycle counting of assigned areas
- Work closely with warehouse lead hands and provide direction for paperwork/carrier and customer
- Handle customer inquiries and dispatch to the appropriate representative.
- Book appointments and reschedule for inbound carriers.
- Work closely with the sales teams when a discrepancy occurs on a ship bill, and coordinate with Invoicing department and provide information with paperwork issues.
- Work with PMI drivers for dock times.
- TDG regulations when discrepancies occur on dangerous goods, work with Logistics team.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Working Environment**:

- Works in Shipping/Receiving Office
- Warehouse environment with extreme temperatures
- Dusty, busy environment

**Requirements**:

- 1- 3 years of experience in administrative and customer service
- 1- 2 years of warehouse experience
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal skills and customer focused
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to identify and resolve conflicts
- Be able to work independently with mínimal guidance
- Nice to have experience with MRP software and RF scanning system
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
