Social Media Content Creator Intern

At Sash + Bustle we strive to create a personalized shopping experience to suit the needs of every individual client. This role is intended to provide students with an immersive paid learning opportunity in social media + marketing in the fashion industry with the potential for a permeant role. An S+B Social Media Intern's main responsibility is to assist the Creative Director and Social Media + Marketing Coordinator in executing content for the Sash + Bustle social media platforms.
- Assisting the Marketing team with Content Creation
- Develop and produce engaging TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts content
- Act as an on-camera ambassador, creating authentic and relatable video content.
- Identify and leverage trending sounds, formats, and challenges to inspire fresh content.
- Film, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form videos using CapCut, or similar tools.

What we are looking for

You thrive in an intimate yet fast paced environment, are very comfortable infront of a camera. You are fluent in the social landscape (Instagram, Pinterest, Tik Tok and Facebook) with a deep passion and understanding of algorithms, and emerging trends.

You pride yourself in having professional communication skills and are able to engage in online communities in a positive and inclusive way. You have a passion for photography/videography and digital content creation. You have an interest in learning more about bridal fashion and marketing. You are a true self-starter who is patient, organized and takes pride in being able to multi-task. You enjoy working for a small independent business and have motivation to contribute and improve your workplace.

You’ll need to have:

- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Current Enrollment in a Post-Secondary Social Media/Marketing program
- Experience in photography, photo and video editing
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive and judgment free space where all people feel welcomed

Even better if you have:

- Experience working in high end retail
- Passion for weddings

You will be educating clients as well as empowering stylists and brides alike to have successful appointments. Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 15 per week
