Key Areas of Accountability
**Operations & Productivity**
- Overseeing all kitchen operations - Creating efficient production procedures and continual improvement; menu development, supply, pricing, inventory and waste management systems; ensuring consistency of quality assurance and control.
- Financial responsibility - managing, monitoring and affecting costs. Inventory and COGS reporting, monitoring & finding solutions to variances, creating work schedules based on business needs and keeping within financial targets.
- Fostering an environment & team that is focused on organization, excellence, quality, proficiency & team work, with full knowledge & understanding of each role within the kitchen & ability to guide, support and jump in as needed.
**Maintenance & Environment**
- Ensuring equipment is maintained and kept in good working order, advising when updates are needed.
- Food Safe protocols are followed and recorded per Fraser Health guidelines, Food Safety & Sanitation Plans, kept up-to-date, upholding safety and standards of cleanliness,
- Providing a safe work environment per WorkSafeBC regulations.
**People & Culture**
- Coordinating, motivating & mentoring the team and maintaining a healthy workplace culture. Inspiring growth within FOH and BOH teams through tours, demos, communication on culinary trends and educational opportunities.
- Training & overseeing chefs, cooks & stewards and correcting issues, techniques & procedures. Management and development of performance through ongoing feedback and review processes, and leading by example to ensure the team is accountable to company vision and standards.
- All aspects of Admin and HR policies and procedures are adhered to and training materials & processes are up-to-date and followed. Collaboration with the leadership team and ownership group on hiring process, progressive discipline, difficult conversations and termination decisions.
- Building community relationships that increase brand recognition, boost reputation and grow the company.

This role will be responsible for the guidance and leadership of bar staff and ensuring education and training around drink menus are facilitated. They lead by example and contribute to a culture of accountability and achievement. The GM will maintain business operations by upholding Amici processes and policies, helping to provide day-to-day solutions in support of the growth and development of the company.

Inspired by Italy's connection to local agriculture, this modern Italian concept will connect to our unique food in the Fraser Valley, paired with a curated selection of Italian and BC wines, quality cocktails and fine selection of BC craft beers. The food menu will feature a unique twist on classic recipes, designed for any occasion - family-style dinners, date nights or just a casual bite to eat or drink with 'friends'. _Salute_

Pay: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
