**Sigurdson Financial Group** is a professional financial and insurance advisory services firm located in downtown Winnipeg. We are a smaller “boutique wealth management shop” that continually strives to be a great place to work. Sigurdson Financial Group currently has an opening for the role of **Insurance Administrator**:
**Insurance Administrator's Responsibilities**:
- **Document Process Support**:Performs tasks that support client account transfer documents and completes the processing of new accounts from start to finish. Possesses the skills to conduct proper tracking and status reporting.
- **Time and Calendar Management**: Establishes a systematic method for self and others to track time commitments and the completion of tasks based on client preferences. Independently manages the deadlines for larger tasks or customer appreciation engagements.
**Other Responsibilities may include**:
- Assisting with company initiatives.
- Managing customer files.
- Updating various databases.
- Minimum 2 years related experience in an administrative role/environment (insurance experience is preferred).
- Post-secondary education (preferred).
- Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with an aptitude to learn standard firm
- software and other relevant office equipment at an intermediate level.
- General understanding of financial principles as it relates to investments and insurance.
- Proven ability to differentiate when to take action independently and when to partner as a team.
- Ability to multi-task and meet multiple expected deadlines.
- Demonstrates sound judgment regarding confidential and sensitive matters.
Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
