Job Overview The Insurance Administrator role provides excellent customer service through the timely and accurate processing of insurance policies and vehicle registrations, including renewals, cancellations, and expirations. The role maintains excellent interdepartmental relationships and supports both a regular full‑time position and a 15‑month full‑time term role. Responsibilities Verify and ensure assets have proper insurance and registration in compliance with requirements. Review and process external insurance policies and registration documents, promptly updating the system to reflect accurate coverage. Proactively engage with insurance agents and customers to rectify non‑compliant policies. Address insurance and registration cancellations efficiently, contacting customers and/or insurance agents for timely reinstatements. Escalate insurance delinquencies to Collections following established procedures. Secure confirmation of insurance for assets ineligible for the Loss Damage Waiver program. Handle insurance‑related correspondence using a variety of communication methods, including issuing letters and final notifications. Provide prompt and informative responses to customer inquiries, maintaining a customer‑centric approach. Manage the Loss Damage Waiver program for eligible leases, including quoting fees and processing enrollment or removal from the program throughout the lease term. Process Power of Attorney requests efficiently, taking provincial nuances into account and collaborating with provincial registry offices to ensure compliance and improvement of processes. Team and Environment As part of the National Leasing sector, you’ll work with a team of six colleagues and report to the Team Manager. Our team specializes in equipment leasing & financing, supporting dealers across Canada in agriculture, construction, transportation, forestry, health care, commercial, and golf & turf equipment industries. We offer a wide range of ongoing learning opportunities, including hands‑on learning, training courses, and collaboration with colleagues of varied expertise. Qualifications Post‑secondary education or equivalent work/training experience. Completion of a General Insurance Essentials Course or equivalent insurance industry courses (considered an asset). 2+ years of customer service or office administration experience.
