**About the Job**
The Key Account Coordinator will assist the Manager in the execution of the sales and marketing strategy to achieve sales performance objectives for Safilo. An individual who possesses creative, and analytical capabilities is required to effectively balance program planning and execution, with post-program analysis & reporting. Key Account Coordinator must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally (Sales Operations, Marketing, Finance, etc) as working closely with internal departments is critical to execute programs across channels.
**Key Accountabilities (not limited to)**:
- Support the Manager with daily management of Safilo partners in the implementation of key account strategies for assigned channel.
- Manage the seasonal marketing calendars for each account and support the Manager in the definition/execution of brand growth strategies providing ideas for marketing and promotional campaigns.
- Act as the key point of contact with assigned accounts and groups to facilitate implementation of all commercial requests.
- Prepare business performance reports by account on a weekly basis assisting in the analysis of the business, and post-performance results of key marketing/promotional campaigns.
- Assist Manager in the planning, forecasting and allocation of marketing tools, such as sampling.
- Gather competitive intelligence and analyze relevant data (sales, competitor activity, pricing, etc.) with the direction of the Manager to assess the effectiveness of Safilo’s programs and initiatives.
- Assist in presenting seasonal collections to respective accounts; make recommendations based on sales performance, merchandising opportunities and trends.
- Identify and understand local trends and customer needs and translate them into strategic actions, aimed at developing and improving effective brands visibility and profitable growth for the assigned accounts working in collaboration with Management, Commercial Strategy and Planning and Sales Teams.
- Write recommended orders for some clients. Drive the business by identifying reorder and replenishment opportunities. Review all orders.
- Track and manage Purchase Orders to ensure timely and complete shipping; make sure that all units are allocated, invoiced and shipped to accounts.
- Ad hoc projects from Senior Management.
- Some travel might be required to train, prospect and analyze the business.
**Desired Skills and Experience**
- 2-4 years’ experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual French and English (written and spoken)
- Excellent project management skills; highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Team player with ability to work cross-functionally and effectively communicate.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to perform business analyses.
- Highly motivated, self-starter individual who possesses a willingness to learn and a strong desire to establish and improve processes.
- Technologically savvy
- Proficient in Excel, and Microsoft MS Suite
- SAP experience a plus
