ABOUT THIS TEAM

Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for the overall Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control of our North America Distribution Centers. At lululemon, a Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role by maintaining the physical integrity of the property including maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment for all guests and staff.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

QUALIFICATIONS

Under the leadership of the Facilities Supervisor and Facilities manager, a Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the entire soon to be 550,000 square foot retail distribution facility and the surrounding property. This includes the MHE, physical grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency care of the space. They will work with the Facilities Supervisor on all scheduled and preventative maintenance. In addition to supporting the facility, they will also engage in additional training, team building and personal development.

Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime

Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance
*
Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise
*
Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment
*
Daily inspection and cleanup of building perimeter, including general repairs
*
Inform appropriate DC partners on important communication

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, manufacturing, general mechanical trade or general contracting
- Skilled with power tools, ground maintenance equipment, electrical, masonry, plumbing, carpentry, paints, solvents, adhesives and able to operate PIT equipment
