**About the Role**

The Contract Manager sits within the LNGC Asset Contracting and Procurement (CP) organization and will have the primary role of providing strategy and planning to deliver and manage Asset Contracts in a maintenance portfolio. This will require leadership, strong relationship management skills, broad networking and solid Contracting and Procurement skills. This role requires occasional travel to our site in Kitimat, B.C.

**To succeed with us in the Contracting and Procurement Department, we need your enthusiasm to**:

- Deliver the Asset contracting plan and ensure top quartile Contract Management during the Operate phase.
- Gain an in-depth understanding LNG Canada contracting demand, as well as local/regional market conditions and price levers.
- Develop contracting strategies, tactics, and contracts in accordance with the Contracting and Procurement Procedures Manual including all governance requirements.
- Establish Contract Management Teams and associated Contract Management Plans for Asset contracts.
- Lead in the development and maintenance of the Contracts Management relationship between the LNG Canada and Contractor teams throughout contract lifecycles.
- Develop and execute maintenance contracting strategies in line with business plans.

**To be successful, you will have**:
Progressive experience in managing contractors and Industrial Asset contracting experience. Ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability, and competence in the following commercial, technical, and interpersonal aspects:

- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Contracts and Procurement supporting an Industrial Asset
- Strong commercial acumen
- Managing internal and external stakeholders
- Effective communications at all levels of management both internally and externally
- Motivated self-starter with a track record of delivery
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships

**This role**:

- **Requires that you are legally entitled to work in Canada (i.e., by way of Canadian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work permit)**:

- Is based in Calgary, located at the BOW, expected Hybrid work, where a minimum of 2 days in the office is expected
- Expected overnight travel to Kitimat, once every two months
