Reporting to the Director, Program Delivery the Contract IT Project Manager is responsible for leading IT projects of all sizes and complexity. This is a contract IT position focused leading and managing efforts to a new Financial ERP platform in support of the construction business.

This position is based in any Bird location and will be a 6-month contract with a possibility of an extension.

**Responsibilities**:
- Effective project management of multiple concurrent projects from initiation to completion, involving senior business customers, IT Services and vendors, as required.-
- Manage all aspects of project delivery including scope, risk, change, issue, schedule, cost, quality and communication.- Resolve all issues, actions, risks, changes or decisions as they impact the project in a timely manner.- Manage stakeholders to ensure business satisfaction with project results.- Determine project staffing needs and work with resource managers to secure project team members from multiple disciplines.- Cultivate an atmosphere within the project team that quickly moves the team from forming to high-performing.- Influence or lead change management, benefits realization, and other success measure in coordination with business leads for key projects.- Ability to learn and effectively using Sciforma (ePPM tool) and MS Project.- Experience in managing project finances, resource management, risk management, and submitting the required reports.- Experience working within a PMO / PM COE is advantageous.

What We Are Looking For- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience) plus a PMP or Prince2 designation- Minimum of 5 years of practical IT project management experience, with demonstrated experience in leading multiple projects concurrently including large complex projects- Showcase strong interpersonal skills, superior verbal and written communication skills including the ability to influence without direct authority- Proficiency in the use of project management tools, industry best practices and processes (e.g. Sciforma, Microsoft Project, PMBOK, Prince2)- Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment- Effective and efficient problem solving and decision-making skills; thoughtful, proactive and creative- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and strong commitment to achieving goals; ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment- Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups- Strong written and oral communication skills- Able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic business environment- Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
