**Preconstruction Coordinator (Estimating, Plan Extraction & Automation)**

**About the Role**

Framerz Inc. is growing our preconstruction team and looking for a **detail-oriented, estimating-focused coordinator** to help process plans, extract quantities, manage incoming opportunities, and support our estimators using modern digital workflows.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys **plan reading, takeoffs, numbers, and technology** — and is comfortable using (or learning) basic AI/Python-supported tools.

**What You’ll DoEstimating & Takeoff Support**
- Review architectural/structural plans for wood framing scope
- Extract key data: areas, wall lengths, elevations, roof details, structural elements
- Prepare accurate early-stage takeoff summaries
- Assist with bid comparison, scope notes, and pricing prep

**Plan Extraction & Digital Tools**
- Use PDF markup, CAD viewers, measurement tools, and AI/OCR extraction
- Organize data into clean, standardized estimating templates
- Identify missing details and issue RFIs

**Pipeline & Quoting Coordination**
- Track all incoming bid requests, deadlines, and follow-ups
- Log project details, revisions, and status
- Prioritize opportunities and prepare full preconstruction packages

**Automation & Workflow Improvements**
- Use simple AI prompts, scripts, and digital tools to speed up extraction
- Help refine internal processes for faster, more accurate estimating

**Internal Coordination**
- Work with estimators, drafting, PMs, and prefab teams for smooth handoff
- Maintain organized project files and clear communication with clients

**What You Bring**
- Strong ability to read architectural/structural drawings
- Comfortable with PDF tools, CAD viewers, Excel/Sheets
- Analytical, detail-focused, and organized
- Tech-comfortable and open to using basic AI/Python-assisted tools
- Understanding of residential/multifamily construction terms

**Preferred Backgrounds**
- Estimating (framing, lumber, truss/joist, GC)
- Architectural Technologist
- Civil/Structural Engineering (foreign-trained welcome)
- Project Coordinator / APM with estimating exposure
- Technical or data-oriented construction roles
