**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. In this role, you will support our skilled head mechanic in performing maintenance and repairs on various pieces of equipment. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the turf industry while working in a collaborative environment.

**Duties**
- Assist head mechanic with routine maintenance and repair tasks.
- Assist in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of small engines, mowers, utility vehicles and other golf course equipment.
- Help diagnose mechanical issues by observing and reporting symptoms to the head mechanic.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform basic repairs under supervision, learning new skills along the way.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking parts and supplies used during repairs.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects.
- Valid driver's license is preferred; ability to operate various types of vehicles is an advantage.
- Previous experience in an automotive shop or related field is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Education**:
