POSITION OVERVIEW
The Lead, Continuous Improvement also focuses on the next wave of innovation, working in close collaboration with the other key teams, primarily the strategy & planning team and the transformation office. He or she works closely with the partnership & government relations team to explore FinTech and other innovative opportunities.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Lead the Continuous Improvement priorities and roadmap for BDC to deliver the best solutions and experience to our clients and support our ambition.- Work closely with the business lines and corporate functions to identify CI initiatives that will increase our client centricity and efficiency.- Ensure a holistic organizational focus on all CI initiatives and facilitate resolution of cross-functional challenges.-
- Proactively anticipate needs and opportunities for continuous improvement.- Aggregate and disseminate, across the organization, industry best practices to improve experience, efficiency and design processes, and contribute to instilling a culture of continuous improvement.- Lead the innovation cycle at BDC from idea to pilot and focus on the next wave of innovation from idea to pilot potential.- Build strong collaborative relationships with other key teams within the Chief Strategy and Impact Officer structure, mainly with the strategy & planning team and with the transformation office.- Working with the partnership & government relations team, explore FinTech and other innovative opportunities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Demonstrated experience in leading teams in a complex fast-paced environment- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across business lines and regions, bringing a positive influence- 15+ years of experience, with a minimum of seven years in a senior management role- Demonstrated continuous improvement experience, including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt transformation process expertise- A cohesive leader with demonstrated open, adaptable mindset and ability to build performing teams- Demonstrated ability to lead people, develop talent and maximize the performance of a team- Leader who challenges status quo and conventional wisdom to achieve targets- Innovative proactive thinking and data-driven- Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation skills- Strong critical thinking, strategic implementation and execution skills- Recognized for supporting disciplines and structure needed for execution- Minimum requirement of bachelor’s degree in Management, Master’s degree in related field is an asset, or equivalent experience- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
