**About this Location**:
**Job Summary**:
**Title : Continuous improvement**
Reporting to the Director of Production, the continuous improvement is responsible for deploying improvement strategies as well as managing productivity. He acts both as a counsellor and project manager in order to develop a common culture in our practices and thus create added value at the process level.
**Main Responsibilites**:
- In collaboration with the production team, develop and raise performance standards by deploying performance indicators and implementing new strategies to achieve objectives and deliverables;
- Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective action processes
- Act as a change agent when implementing new, more efficient production strategies (methods, equipment, processes, systems);
- Write or participate in the writing of processes and procedures;

**Qualified Applicants will have**:
- Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or equivalent;
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Experience in small or medium business;
- Proficiency in the Office suite (Project, Visio, Excel and Powerpoint) and AutoCAD (asset);
- Good knowledge of French and English (oral and written).
**Knowledge and Skills**:
- Good knowledge of quality tools and processes;
- Experience in change management and continuous improvement;
- Ability to manage priorities, autonomy and analytical mind;
- Communication, leadership and teamwork skills;
- Ability to coach production staff
