**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Operate and maintain painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Familiar with safe work practices and required safety equipment required to perform all tasks safely
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Mechanically inclined, assembly experience an asset.
- Handle and dispose of paint waste in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while operating forklifts, cranes, or other heavy machinery as needed.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or in a similar role is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment.
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
- Experience operating forklifts.
- Ability to fabricate components as necessary for specific projects.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently or with a helper in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
