**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and supervise painting crews on various projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to timelines.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
- Read and interpret schematics and project plans to determine the scope of work required.
- Utilize hand tools and equipment safely and effectively in all aspects of the painting process.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of painting with other construction tasks.
- Restore surfaces as needed, including drywall repair and finishing work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in commercial, industrial, and residential painting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of schematics and ability to interpret technical drawings related to painting projects.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment relevant to the painting trade.
- Experience in carpentry is a plus; ability to build or repair structures as needed during projects is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that require lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights when necessary.
