**Job Summary**:
The mission of the Demand Generation Specialist is to tactically execute on the strategic segment marketing plan at D2L. They will enhance the marketing plans by facilitating existing processes and collaborating with the greater marketing team to improve deliverables and effectiveness As a key contributor to the executing of D2L's segment marketing plan you'll be detail oriented, excellent time manager, hands-on executor, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.

**At a high-level**:

- The Demand Generation Specialist is responsible for executing segment demand generation tactics, optimizing the channels being used at each stage, and helping the team stay on track with campaign logistics.
- Additionally, the Marketing Manager will collaborate with product, sales, product marketing, automation, and operations to create and optimize the go to market strategy based on the ideal customer journeys/segments
- Contribute to exceeding KPIs, and work with Manager to leverage reporting, to analyze and improve performance.
- Accountable for the overall effectiveness of demand generation tactics and activities that will contribute to campaign metrics and goals.
- Execute measurable, repeatable process in collaboration with the segment demand generation team.
- Responsible for carrying out all the deliverables required to successfully run field marketing event such as promo, copy creation, vendor logistics and more.
- Responsible for communication and enablement to BDRs to successfully leverage campaign tactics that will help drive engagement and pipeline.

**Deliverables**:

- Responsible for the execution of the tactical components of the strategical marketing plan including field marketing, digital tactics, campaign logistics and more.
- Focus on deliverables by engaging in the everyday logistics, production, and execution of marketing activities and tactics, leading to account engagement to achieve key conversion points across the entire marketing funnel.
- With guidance from the Marketing Manager, quickly learn what is working and not working on all tactics and activities - continuously looking to adapt, learn, and grow faster.
- Contribute to executing efficient processes and well-integrated marketing tactics across the entire customer lifecycle.
- Contribute to the execution of the segment strategy to support our account-based marketing/selling efforts and drive pipeline and brand awareness in our key verticals.
- Work with the business development team to optimize lead flow and ensure the team is equipped with the right content and tactics to follow up in a timely manner.
- Leverage tactical insights from the marketing team to improve activity performance and identify areas for improvement.
