Les cuisiniers à la chaîne sont responsables des tâches suivantes:
Préparer les plats à la commande selon les indications du chef et des clients.
Suivre les recettes avec précision, comme indiqué par le Chef
Coordonner l'exécution des plats avec les autres cuisiniers, selon les instructions du chef.
Répondre aux demandes spéciales et aux restrictions alimentaires selon les directives du chef.
Mise en place du poste
S'assurer que toutes les fournitures nécessaires au service sont prêtes à être utilisées
Avant le service, préparer les éléments du plat tels que les bouillons et les garnitures. Cela peut comprendre le hachage des légumes et la boucherie.
Nettoyage du poste
Éliminer les déchets
Balayer et passer la serpillière
Nettoyer toutes les surfaces du poste
Stocker ou jeter tous les articles non utilisés
Les cuisiniers à la chaîne doivent posséder les compétences et l'expérience suivantes
Expérience antérieure dans une cuisine à haut volume ou formation culinaire équivalente (2+ ans)
Compétences en matière de couteau de niveau intermédiaire à avancé
Compétences en gestion du temps
Compréhension approfondie de la manipulation sécuritaire des aliments
Esprit d'équipe et de coopération

**Line Cooks** **are responsible for the following Tasks/Duties**:
- Prepare food to order as specified by the Chef and guest
- Follow recipes accurately as outlined by Chef
- Coordinate timing of dish completion with other cooks, as directed by Chef
- Accommodate special requests and dietary restrictions as directed by Chef
- Station set up
- Ensure all supplies needed for service ready for use
- Prior to service, prep dish elements such as stocks and garnishes. This may include chopping vegetables and butchery.
- Station clean up
- Disposing of waste
- Sweep and mop
- Clean all surfaces on station
- Store or dispose of all unused items
**Line Cooks must possess the following Skills / Experience**
- Previous experience in high volume kitchen or equivalent culinary education (2+ years)
- Intermediate to advanced knife skills
- Time management skills
- Thorough understanding of safe food handling
- Team spirit and cooperative workflow
