Project Manager

**Position Purpose**

Deliver project(s) within the defined scope and budget. Lead all aspects of the project life-cycle, working with project sponsors/key stakeholders (external client and internal), BAs, Solutions Architects, and product leadership. Ensure quality throughout all phases of the project. Build and manage the project plan, tasks, milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables. Adapt to constraints of human & financial resources and changing priorities to ensure successful delivery of the project(s). Ensure transparent and timely reporting of project status, issues, risks, and financials.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Own the overall project delivery of our products and custom elements to clients from beginning to end
- Ensure client satisfaction through appropriate communication, risk management, scope control and quality delivery
- Manage resources and deliverables in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
- Create and update status, budget, schedule and scope with accuracy and timeliness that feed company KPIs
- Understand and use standard tools, processes, templates and best practices to ensure quality
- Communicate to both internal and external stakeholders at all levels, escalating when appropriate
- Effectively identify risks and actionable mitigation plans
- Work across the organization to identify and resolve issues
- Highly motivated, quick learner who works independently to drive solutions in an innovative fast-paced environment; ability to take advantage of new concepts, business models, products and technology

**Skills and Requirements**
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and provide comprehensive weekly project status reports
- Identify, escalate, resolve issues
- Create, track and own budgets including actuals and forecasts
- Risk management: identify risks and develop actionable mitigation plans
- Strong knowledge of full life cycle SDLCs and methodologies including Agile, Scrum, Iterative and Waterfall
- Create and actively manage a project plan with tasks, milestones, dependencies and due dates
- Actively manage all aspects of external client communication for assigned project(s)
- Adapt to changing processes and a growing organization
- Work under pressure and manage priorities appropriately
- Conduct executive level status meetings both internal and external
- Experience with standard project management tools such as Atlassian suite (Jira, Tempo, Confluence)
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills and experience with complex multi-faceted projects
- Prioritize the value-add activities that will result in meeting the project objectives and staying in scope

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance or technology space
- 5+ years of full life cycle project management in technology with proven ability to deliver results according to specified scope, budget and timeline
- 5+ years with industry standard project management tools, methodologies and best practices

**Plus**
- Financial services industry knowledge/experience and working in a matrixed (shared resources) environment
- PMP / PMI Knowledge

- The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on the applicant’s geographic location. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $160,000._
