**About the Role**:
Vidyard is looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk** **to join our finance** **team for a one (1) year contract. Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, you will contribute to the overall success of the accounts receivable and collection functions, work to continually improve our accounts receivable processes, and play an important role in month-end reporting. **About the Team**:
The finance team is responsible for accurate reporting and providing timely information and support to all areas of the business. The team is made up of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and FP&A. As a member of the accounts receivable group you will work alongside our Accounts Receivable Specialists who are passionate about providing exceptional service to our customers and continually looking for opportunities to improve our processes. Accounts receivable also works closely with sales and customer success teams for billing and order requirements.

**What You’ll Work On**:

- Perform standard accounts receivable duties including billing, processing credit memos, and recording cash receipts
- Contribute to the collection process to meet the targeted days sales outstanding and monthly collection target
- Maintain strong customer relationships by responding to inquiries on a timely basis via Zendesk tickets
- Assist with external audit requests including the preparation of accounts receivable confirmations and providing requested support
- Perform reconciliations of accounts, sub-ledgers, systems, lockboxes and credit card payments
- Retrieve and assess information as requested
- Contribute to special projects or assignments from the finance or leadership team

**What You’ll Bring to this Role and Your New Team**:

- 2-3 years of related accounts receivable experience
- Superior Excel skills (construction and maintenance of spreadsheets)
- Ability to build relationships with other teams across the business to maintain a high service level to the organization
- Curiosity and eye for automation and continuous process improvements
- Experience using accounting software (Intacct and Zuora experience is an asset)
