1MR One More Round is excited to be hiring a kids instructor to be part of our team for our locations in Woodbridge and Thornhill.

**1MR One More Round Boxing and Kickboxing** is seeking a dynamic and motivated **kids instructor** for our **Woodbridge** location to inspire our young members on their fitness journey. If you’re passionate about teaching kids ages 5-12, skills in kickboxing and/or Muay Thai techniques, but most of all looking to build confidence, resilience and inspire the next generation, we’d love to have you on board

**Responsibilities**:

- **Plan and Lead Energizing Classes**: Follow and adapt 1MR kids class system of high-energy fun, engaging safe workouts of authentic striking sessions that cater to diverse fitness levels and abilities, while bringing your style and personality.
- **Inclusive Atmosphe**re: Create a warm and welcoming environment that motivates and inspires our young community to achieve goals.
- **Inspiring Role Model**: Use martial arts to teach life skills that go beyond the gym. whether its resiliency, goal setting, responsibility and accountability.
- **Safety First**: Maintain a clean and safe workout space by ensuring discipline and respect to one another as well as building on team work and cooperation.
- **Gradings**: Audit, plan and lead kids sash system gradings.

**Requirements**:

- **A born Leader** that can command a busy kids class with authority while engaging them in physical activities.
- **At least 1 year experience** in teaching elementary school ages Martial Arts.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent interpersonal abilities to motivate and inspire kids.
- **Technical Expertise**: Strong understanding of proper striking techniques and form.
- **Adaptability**: Ability to modify exercises for various fitness levels and dealing with different personalities.
- **Passion**: A genuine love for teaching kids and helping them succeed.
- **Commute**: Able to commute to our gyms in Woodbridge (205 Marycroft Ave)
- **Availability**:Available to work weekday evenings and weekend mornings (days off TBD)
- **Team Player**: We’re a tight-knit team, and collaboration is key.

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

- Muay Thai/kickboxing?: 2 years (required)
