GENERAL SUMMARY:
Assure safe and accurate warehouse operations in delivery, shipping, receiving, inventory counting, and material handling.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Drive company delivery vehicle to make deliveries to our customer twice daily, safely and on time.
- Receiving Shipments and verifying correct quantities vs supplier shipping document.
- Accurately recording shipment information in Company ERP system
- Reporting shipment discrepancies and non-conformances to mangers or Customer service.
- Accurately fill orders from shelf inventory or daily receipts.
- Record shipping information in Company ERP system and use 3rd party logistics software to generate shipments.
- Safely package goods for shipment.
- Safely use equipment such as pallet jack or hand carts to move materials.
- Put away material in the correct warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory counts, identify and record discrepancies.
- Work with Team Leader and Customer service to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment in Warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with little to no supervision.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to use ERP software.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work while standing or walking for entire shift except scheduled breaks.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted repeatedly throughout shift.
- Ability to obtain CDL and make deliveries.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred
