Warehouse/delivery Driver

The Warehouse & Delivery Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of the company's supply chain. Your responsibilities will include daily warehouse activities such as operating a forklift to move material throughout the warehouse, preparing shipments for LTL pickup, and sorting, labeling and packaging material. This role also assists with the delivery (both hand-bomb and curbside) of customer orders throughout Ontario.
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate delivery vehicles (if applicable) in a safe and responsible manner. Ensure timely and secure delivery of products to customers or designated locations and obtain necessary signatures and documentation upon delivery.
- Operate a forklift and pump truck to load and unload pallets from trailers/ocean containers and move products to various locations around the warehouse.
- Sorting, labeling, and packaging finished goods for shipment per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices. Verify product quality and quantity before dispatching orders.
- Pick and pack customer orders for shipping via courier.
- Assist production team in the finishing and packaging of custom hardwood flooring orders on an as-needed basis.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while handling and storing products.
- Assist in monthly inventory counts.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Requirements**:
- Comfortable operating a 24’ straight truck with tailgate lift and a Sprinter van in the GTA
- Current forklift operation certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Understanding of MS Office (Excel, Word) and Outlook
- Customer service mindset and client servicing skills
**Experience**:
- Delivery driver experience required (min 1 - 2 years)
- 1 year of experience in a warehouse position
- Previous experience with inventory management is considered an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
