**About the Opportunity**

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated **Financial Advisor** to join our Cold Lake branch on a full-time basis. You will play a crucial role, reporting to the Personal Banking Manager, by recognizing member needs and aligning them with the best financial products and services. Your experience in retail banking and credit assessment will allow you to provide tailored financial advice while building long-term relationships with our valued members.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough interviews with members and prospects to understand their financial goals and deliver personalized solutions.
- Cultivate strong relationships by actively monitoring and managing member interactions.
- Proactively anticipate members' needs, identifying solutions that go beyond basic services to address broader financial objectives.
- Provide expert financial advice to help achieve set portfolio targets, actively fostering loyalty through follow-ups and referrals for additional services.
- Recommend loans and manage accounts while identifying and addressing any potential issues properly.
- Support our commitment to service excellence and product knowledge to enhance member onboarding and retention.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and organizational policies.
- Participate in community events to promote Lakeland Credit Union and its initiatives, reinforcing our dedication to community engagement and support.
- Efficiently organize and prioritize daily tasks to ensure a balance of business development, relationship management, and administrative responsibilities.

**About You**

In order to qualify for this role, you will bring at least **3 years of retail banking and credit assessment experience**, along with a genuine passion for providing superior, personalized service. As someone who thrives in a smaller community setting, you're eager to continue your professional growth while contributing to our mission.

Your skills in communication, organization, and time management will be invaluable in this role. You possess a proactive mindset, critical thinking capabilities, and the judgement necessary to make impactful decisions.
