**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Train, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food handling procedures to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items while maintaining consistency in quality.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Utilize POS systems (such as Micros POS) for efficient order processing and cash handling.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
- Proficiency in cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
- Experience with cash handling and operating POS systems is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.20-$23.80 per hour
