Job Title: Daycare Educator

Location: 4901 46th St

Position Type: Part-Time TEMPORARY with the possibility of full time hours

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an Educator that will work a flexible shift and be able to fill in when other Educators are away. It is considered a part time shift, so the applicant must be willing and able to work until 7pm if needed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring safety at all times
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and play-based learning
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment for children of diverse backgrounds
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s day, milestones, and any concerns
- Support children with personal needs such as feeding, toileting, and dressing
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Collaborate with team members to create a consistent, high-quality care experience
- Document children’s progress and maintain daily reports and attendance records
- Comply with all licensing, health, and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- Early Childhood Education Level 1 or above
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Clear criminal background check with vulnerable sector check
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Able to work independently or as a team member
- Knowledge of FLIGHT is a must

At this time we are NOT hiring practicum students or students that will be enrolled in school due to the nature of hours that are required to work this specific position.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $18.62-$25.64 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
