PTW is hiring a **_Jr. Electrical Estimator _**to support the estimating department in **Nisku**, AB** We're looking for qualities like strong organizational skills, detail oriented, flexible, team focused and self-motivated. **_If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you_**

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**
- Interprets bid package specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work and required content of the estimate.
- Consults with other departments to ensure labour, equipment and materials reflect current pricing, construction costs and timelines.
- Utilize estimating software to prepare and present material takeoffs and man-hour budgets.
- Prepares cost estimates associated with scope changes.
- Leads and participates in various estimate planning, verification, and review meetings.
- Ability to handle multiple competing priorities.
- Delivers accurate and complete packages on time.
- Other duties as required.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

In this role, we count on you to be a proactive and highly organized individual. Our team maintains a high level of accuracy, professionalism, and trust with a focus on teamwork.
- A Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Blueprint reading and interpretation.
- Previous experience in an estimating role is considered an asset, but not necessary.
- Industrial field experience is preferred.
- Prior experience working with Trimble Estimation or other estimating software is an asset but not necessary.
- Intermediate MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
- Able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks quickly.
- Thrives in a busy, deadline-oriented environment.
