- Prepare estimates for new work using established company formulas and procedures
- Source and price materials from variety of suppliers
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and vendors.
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Maintains contact and relationships with individuals and other organizations
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Presents prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
- Maintains cost database by entering and backing up data
- Continually updates technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Follows all company policies and safety policies
- Post secondary education in business or a related field a plus
- Engineering background is a plus
- Experience with estimating/quoting
- Experience with painting/sandblasting is preferred
- Ability to read engineering schematics
- Familiar with CRM software
- Strong organizational skills with good use of time management
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Competent decision making and problem solving skills
- Confident computer skills, you know your way around MS Office
- Positive energy and a can-do attitude
- A willingness to learn and grow

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
