**General Manager - Roles and Responsibilities**

As the General Manager at Supplement King, you hold a pivotal leadership role in ensuring the operational excellence and overall success of the store. With a wealth of experience and seniority, you spearhead the strategic direction of the store while overseeing a diverse array of responsibilities. Your role encompasses comprehensive management across scheduling, customer experience, inventory, staff training, communication, and project management, all aimed at fostering a thriving and positive environment for both customers and staff. Your autonomy and problem-solving abilities are paramount as you navigate the complexities of daily operations and drive the store towards achieving and exceeding performance targets. As the General Manager at Supplement King, your experience, autonomy, and problem-solving skills are instrumental in driving the store's success and fostering a culture of excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Schedule Management**
- Work the floor Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- Expected to cover any last minute shifts that cannot be covered otherwise outside of and in addition to Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
- Build and submit store schedules 1 month in advance (posted by the 15th).
- Adjust daily schedules and approve/deny staff time-off.
- Schedule staff events while ensuring store coverage.
- Oversee timekeeping in BrightHR:

- Ensure accurate clock in/out
- Adjust for missing clock in/out promptly
- Review availability when scheduling
- Approve/Deny time off requests

**2. Daily Operations & Task Check-In**
- Review and utilize all communication tools:

- Slack: Used for team and store-level communications.
- Asana: Project management platform for daily/weekly store operations.
- Store GMail: Used for online order communication.
- Assist in task delegation and tracking through Asana projects, ensuring no overdue tasks and all tasks are completed in a reasonable timeframe:

- Daily Task Sheet (DTS)
- NDD & Customer Callback
- Inventory Management
- Regional Project
- Frequently meet with Districts for morning huddles
- Monitor DTS (Daily Task Sheet) and ensure completion
- Review prior night’s shift logs for important communication

**3. Inventory Oversight**
- Maintain accurate inventory in CounterPoint.
- Regular brand counts for every brand, counting the whole store quarterly
- Correct negatives through physical count
- Address discrepancies, damages, and short-dated items
- Asana Inventory Project Management (orders in transit, inventory arriving, order discrepancies, returns, damaged products and receivings)
- Maintain accurate price tags on products by managing price change updates
- Implement and oversee stock rotation procedures
- Monitor short-dated products and take appropriate action to remove the product from inventory. Discard expired products once adjusted out.
- Ensure NDD and LP are released.
- Process receivings within 1 business day
- Complete necessary inventory adjustments (damages, discontinued, giveaways)
- Manage transfer and physically complete transfers between stores

**4. Inventory Ordering & Vendor Communication**
- Build purchase orders independently
- Submit product orders based on sell-through data, inventory requirements & budget.
- Communicate (with help from District) to vendors regarding orders, timelines, confirmations, and shipment or invoice errors.
- Track orders in Asana, escalate discrepancies, and confirm invoices.
- Ensure invoices match shipment and receive product into Counterpoint.
- Understand and regularly update the budget sheet.

**5. Store Maintenance & Supplies**
- Oversee cleaning processes to maintain a tidy and welcoming store environment.
- Manage office, bathroom and cleaning supplies inventory. (Request list for an Amazon order from District Manager who will complete the order)
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and functional store displays.
- Monitor Moneris terminal subscription with $1 charge monthly.
- Ensure security cameras are charged and in working order
- Check the mail weekly
- Update ipad server changes weekly
- Order drinking water (if applicable)

**6. Exceptional Customer Experience**
- Lead the team in delivering exceptional service.
- Ensure staff follow sales steps to enhance customer experience.
- Problem solve and find solutions to address online order discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor and improve merchandising to optimize the customer experience.
- Handle situations with escalated customers.
- Be a point of contact for wholesale accounts.
- No phones or meals in front of customers.

**7. Staff Training & Development**
- Implement training programs and assesments for new staff members.
- Track staff KPI performance using the MGMNT Workbook.
- Conduct staff reviews independently and discuss results with District
- Target coaching based on sales trends, reviews, and task performance.
- Complete training packages with new staff and ensure follow up.
