**Job description**

We seek highly motivated, self-starters, with a strong work ethic capable of delivering a wide range of value-added services to our clients.

As an Accounting Technician you will have the opportunity to provide accounting and services to both corporate and personal clientele of the firm. You will also support our senior accounting staff in the completion of various assurance engagements.

**Qualifications**

1 year of experience in public accounting, including basic knowledge of assurance and accounting standards;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with individuals at all levels of the firm as well as clients;
Demonstrate knowledge of fundamental accounting principles and income tax rules;
Demonstrate a commitment to professional development, leading to qualification as a Chartered Professional Accountant;
Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and willingness to learn and develop;
Knowledge of Quickbooks, Caseware, Tax Prep and Excel is an asset;
Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and in a team setting; and

Display a professional image in the workplace as well as in the community, consistent with client expectations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
