**Referral Coordinator**

**Department**: Operations

**Reports To**: Surrey Clinic Lead

**Location**: Hybrid, with training and development days and coverage for team members in the Surrey office when required.

**Work Schedule**: Monday-Friday, 7:15am - 3:15pm

**Overview**:

- Supporting the Vision, Values, Purpose, and Commitment of Olive Fertility Centre:_

Reporting to the Surrey Clinic Lead, the Referral Coordinator is pivotal to the organization - this being the first Olive representative many of our patients will speak with.

**Key Areas of Involvement Include**:
**Referral Coordinator**
- Triaging new referrals to determine what testing patients need to complete prior to consultation.
- Uploading all patient requisitions and managing patient portal access.
- Preparing charts of new patients in preparation for consultation booking.
- Processing Medical Records requests and Obstetrical referrals and sending required

documentation.
- Participate in departmental meetings and in-service education sessions as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:
**Education, Training and Experience**:

- Medical Office Assistant Certificate
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
- Previous medical office experience is an asset.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Positive, friendly, and professional demeanour.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize & multi-task.
- Willing and able to learn new programs and systems.
- Strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to discuss intimate topics related to infertility in a professional, compassionate manner.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Medical Office: 1 year (preferred)
