Bar Manager

**1.** **Daily Operation of Bar Program**
- Ensure consistent, high-quality operation of the bar program from product to service
- Weekly ordering, inventory, and bar upkeep
- Ensure each member of the bar team is properly trained to provide excellent service for the bar and restaurant in general
- Ensure FOH staff is trained on and informed of all relevant bar related information
- Mezcal/Agave training, cocktail and bar service details, features, etc.
- Experience and knowledge of mezcal and agave products and Mexican cuisine and beverage culture a bonus
**2.** **Weekly Operation of Bar Program**
- Weekly ordering of all items required for bar service
- Maintain appropriate par levels for all bar items: liquor, beer, wine, non-alcoholics, cleaners, bar supplies, etc.
- Weekly inventory and invoice tracking
- Complete a weekly inventory count
- Track and input all weekly invoices
- Ensure the bar program is meeting the set sales/COGS numbers and percentages
- Maintain up-to-date pricing for all bar items
**3.** **Maintenance and Cleanliness**
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the entire bar area, storage areas, and restaurant in general
- Ensure all food/beverage safety and AGLC standards are being met at all times
- Maintain up-to-date daily and weekly cleaning duties and ensure the bar team is keeping up with this regular schedule in maintaining a clean bar
- Take care of regular maintenance and repairs for all bar equipment
- Communicate any needed repairs and/or damaged equipment the Beverage Director when appropriate
**4.** **Staff Management and Training**
- Supervise bar and floor staff to ensure high standards of service
- Dialogue: Ensuring all service staff are using appropriate dialogue to guests
- Consistency: Ensuring that guests are being communicated to regarding policies for take away, wait times, large parties etc. in a consistent manner
- Implementing and monitoring all dress code and uniform policies
- Preparing and hosting daily pre shifts
- Ongoing product knowledge training
**5.** **Health Inspections**
- Ensure that all AHS guidelines are met and that the restaurant is operating to their standards
- Aware of monthly health inspections and follow ups to limit infractions
- All cleaners must be labeled clearly for staff both, FOH and BOH
- Ensure all prep stations have labeled, visible cleaners
- All hand washing stations are stocked with hand towels and soap
**6.** **Communication and Delegation**
- Daily Log out to ensure communication between all management
**7.** **Social Media, Guest Review Sites, and other Promotions (When GM is away)**
- Communicating with Marketing Manager about any social media updates - Instagram, Facebook, and Website updates to keep guests engaged and up to date with features, events, etc.
- Updating website, DoorDash, and TouchBistro with menu changes, features, etc.
**8.** **Guest Relations and Retention**
- Communication with all service staff to get to know regulars, their dining habits and preferences
- Being aware of guest issues or complaints on the floor and dealing with them according to Thank you Hospitality’s Guidelines for Customer Retention
- Touching every table - ensuring that all servers are providing exceptional service to all guests and that everyone leaves happy regardless of their experience
- Providing “extras” for repeat guests, industry etc. With complimentary desserts, mezcal, etc.
**9.** **Staff Accountability**
- Write ups, reprimands (verbal and written reprimands)
- Following the Employee Handbook Guidelines for staff accountability
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00 per hour

- Every Weekend
