**Accounting Technician main duties and responsibilities**
- Prepare company's invoices and send to clients.
- Prepare company’s invoice to our restaurants and send all invoice and statement of account to clients.
- Provide documents to clients’ request.
- Contact clients for overdue invoices.
- Deposit cheques from clients on online banking.
- Perform the data entry suppliers' purchase orders, invoices, and other invoices of various expenses.
- Prepare direct deposit payment to for suppliers.
- Prepare weekly sales report, bi-weekly sales vs labor report.
- Prepare credit cards and bank reconciliation.
- Assist with bookkeeping for general ledgers.
- Assist Accounting Manager with preparing and validating GST/QST documentation.
- Assist buyer with purchase orders.
- Filling accounting and payroll documentation.
- Receive mail and distribute to appropriate recipient.
- Operate other tasks as requested by direct manager.

**Job description**

The Accounting Technician role consists of performing clerical and administrative accounting tasks for the Aux Vivres Group.

The role involves ensuring that accounting documentation and administration is properly verified, processed, and registered.

**Requirements**:

- Completion of College diploma in Accounting or similar domain
- Proven accounting experience. A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role is required
- Competency in accounting software (SAGE 50, SAGE 300ERP or similar) as well as Dayforce/Ceridian
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Office and Microsoft.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Punctual, well organized, able to meet deadlines and willing to continue learning as part of a team
- Able to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Bilingual (good commando of spoken and written English and French)

**Salary**: $52,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
