**Adfast is currently seeking an Accounting Technician**

Reporting to the Controller, the main responsibilities are to assist in the supervision of accounting tasks and the team in place. The Accounting Technician will be responsible for various analyses and actively participate in data collection as required. The position holder will also be required to participate in various accounting projects and in the proper control and documentation of departmental work procedures.

**Working Conditions**:
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Hybrid formula.

**Status**: Permanent

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Manage, perform and track various monthly payment, analysis and recording schedules.
- Perform various types of settlement;
- Compile and record fixed assets;
- Reconcile bank accounts on a daily basis;
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable auxiliaries with GL;
- Perform monthly analysis of inventory GLs;
- In collaboration with the assistant controller, analyze GL accounts relating to customer discounts.
- Carry out the analysis of various customer accounts according to requests received by the credit department.
- Take charge of calculating, verifying and recording volume discounts
- Actively participate in month-end and year-end operations;
- Any other related tasks

**Requirements**:

- Possess a technical degree in accounting or a BAC in accounting;
- Possess 5 years' experience in the accounting field;
- Experience working with an ERP system (an asset).
- Experience in the manufacturing field (a strong asset).
- Proficiency in Office suite (Word, excel, etc.);
- Bilingualism required, spoken and written (French, English).
