**Prairie Boy Bread** is an organic and artisan sourdough bread bakery that sells through our three retail locations as well through our wholesale program which includes carefully chosen restaurants and business partners.

The bread itself is made through the method of working with high hydration levels, long-ferments, and with 100% organic flour locally sourced primarily in Ontario, but also Canada-wide.

We are looking to add more individuals that share our values in traditional sourdough bread making to our team. This person shares our values for community food sustainability, grassroots methods of making food, and believes that sourdough bread is a simply made product, but a craft within itself.

Specifically, we are looking for individuals that would prefer night shifts, as our night baker position is currently open. Because this position requires so much autonomy and leadership, we are looking for those who have previous bread experience.

Our business provides 1:1 informative training by our Bread Lead. As you become confident in your position, more opportunities for growth and development can become available to you.

**Requirements for the Role**:

- Able to lift up to 25kg above chest height
- Previous bread baking experience
- Must be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours at a time with breaks
- Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and enjoys taking ownership of their role
- High-level of communication
- Aspires to be better at their craft every day
