**Responsibilities**

**Engineering Materials & Assets PM**

**The Role**

The Project Management Office (PMO) within AMD’s Data Center GPU (DCGPU) group has an immediate opening for an Engineering Materials and Assets Program Manager. In this role, you will be working closely with the NPI Materials Manager and Datacenter management team. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment, have strong organizational skills, a demonstrated capacity for creative problem solving, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work with cross-functional teams to enable the development ground-breaking products. Your contributions will make a pronounced difference to future AMD GPUs for High Performance Computing (HPC) and Machine Learning (ML).

The Job

In this role, you will be required to

  • Prepare scenarios to utilize available materials, systems and equipment to support key program deliverables and customer engagements
  • Identify risks and define mitigation strategies to address
  • Respond to program challenge resulting from supply issues, engineering/product issues and budget
  • Provide clear and timely communications to multiple stakeholders to enable decision making, ensure cross-functional alignment and articulate risks and opportunities

**Key Qualifications**

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or a related multi-disciplinary program or equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to deal with rapid development cycles
  • Working knowledge of program management methodologies and supply chain principles
  • Proficient in productivity tools including Microsoft Teams, Excel. Power BI and OneNote
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be a team player
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems, work with ambiguity and be self-motivated
  • Familiar with implementing and refining new processes
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal

**Preferred qualifications**

  • Prior ASIC pre-production materials planning experience
